When I first encountered Justhost, I did not quote know what to expect. I had tried other hosting services and found them somewhat lacking. Many of the services offered add ons I did not need. The ones that offered bare bones packages expected me to know far more about HTML and computer administration than I do. Like many people, I do not want to be a computer wizard to get my business website to work. The idea of a no-frills approach that provided what I needed was exactly what drew me to Justhost in the first place.
Is Justhost’s Price Reasonable?
Most Justhost reviews do not give you the price of the service. They do not even give you an idea what you should expect to pay and whether or not their prices are competitive. Justhost actually charges somewhat less than many of its competitors. The reason it charges less is that it is not offering as many frills. The frills, while nice do not necessarily do much for an individual business. Why should a business owner pay for things that don’t help him online when his entire business is conducted over the Internet?
What is the Service Like?
When you read Justhost reviews, you’ll get mixed reviews of the service. You’ll find people who really love it and people who really hate it. The thing I found when using the service is that I needed a little technical knowledge. I didn’t need to be a computer genius, but I did need to know a few things about Linux or Windows to get it running. I chose the Linux package because it was slightly less expensive, but most people will find it easier to run things from the Windows hosting package. The truth is that the price difference just isn’t that much.
Would I Recommend This Service to a Friend?
Many people say after reading just a few Justhost reviews that the service is too complicated. The truth is that the service is relatively easy to set up and deal with. It does not take much time to set up, if you know the basics of the operating system you are working with. If you are not someone who likes tinkering with your computer system or does not have the skills to do it, you may want to go with an easier hosting system. You probably will want a control system like Cpanel or Plesk. Cpanel, by the way, is the easier or these two choices.
No Justhost review will give you the entire picture, but the staff was always able to answer my questions about how to set something up or which package I should install. They helped me figure out whether I needed .deb files or .rpm files. Of course, things would have been slightly easier if I had not gone with Linux, but I am satisfied with the service overall. I would recommend the system to anyone who does not mind altering small portions of their host operating system.
